END OF SEASON – END OF AN ERA DINNER
Dear UCSOBRFC Members,
On Saturday, April 8th, 2017 UCSOBRFC will be hosting a SPECIAL end-of- season Dinner at the
playing fields in West Hampstead (Ranulf Road) – special because we are also taking the opportunity
to extend our invitation to members of the other UCS Old Gower sports sections (Cricket, Soccer,
Tennis etc.).
The Dinner will be celebrating the rugby club season (2016-7) as usual, but also it
coincides with the end of one era (it’s 38 years since OG rugby moved from Osterley to West
Hampstead) and the beginning of an exciting new one. As you may know, the Eve Pavilion and
grounds are being redeveloped as part of a £10M building project, the completion date for which is
August, 2018.
Before demolition starts in May, 2017, we want to take the chance to celebrate the
spirit of UCS rugby, with all our ex-players and supporters from across the years. The Dinner will be
held under a marquee, with a champagne reception, entertainment from a live band and dancing
until late. The bar will be heavily subsidised … ‘everything must go’, ahead of the demolition. This

Please SAVE THE DATE and watch out for more information early in January. Prices are £60 per head,
with concessions at £35 for under-22s. Champagne Reception 6.30pm. Dinner at 7.15pm. Carriages
at 1am. Dress code is black tie or lounge suit.
